Most areas require 2-4 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The exact number depends on the size of the area and how your body responds. We’ll give you a realistic estimate at consultation.
You’ll feel a stinging sensation during injection, which settles quickly. The area will be tender and swollen for several days afterward — this is normal and indicates the treatment is working.
Expect swelling, redness, and tenderness for 3-7 days. Bruising is common. Most clients return to work the same or next day, though visible swelling may last a week. Plan around social events accordingly.
Initial swelling subsides within 1-2 weeks. Fat reduction becomes visible from 4-6 weeks as your body processes the destroyed fat cells. Final results are seen 8-12 weeks after your last session.
They serve different purposes. Fat freezing is ideal for larger areas with pinchable fat. Fat dissolving is better for smaller, precise areas or where fat freezing applicators can’t reach (like under the chin). We often recommend one or the other — or sometimes both — based on your anatomy.
